Sport Psychology Support
Sport and performance environments challenge us to reach our full potential, be resilient in the face
of challenges, and manage nerves and expectation. Sport involvement also builds confidence,
teaches life skills, improves mental well-being and has numerous other social and physical benefits.
But that doesn’t mean it’s easy!
Sport psychology support can be an excellent addition to your training; whether you’re struggling with a particular element of your sport, or simply looking for that extra competitive edge.
Common areas which my clients seek support for include
- Sport-life balance and lifestyle
- Managing anxiety and self-doubt
- Coping with injury and rehabilitation
- Concentration, focus, and decision making
- Motivation and goal setting
Exercise Counselling
Stay motivated, stay active—exercise counselling supports your fitness journey; helping you stay
committed and enjoying the process.
Exercise counselling (also known as exercise psychology) uses knowledge about human behaviour,
public health, and sport psychology to find supportive strategies that help you cultivate a lasting,
physically active lifestyle. My approach places great importance on understanding the person, rather
than just the exerciser. In a private, compassionate space, I serve as a partner in your journey –
empowering you to discover and implement effective methods that align with your goals.
- Set achievable goals and monitor progress
- Build lasting physical activity ‘habits’
- Prioritise enjoyment and lifelong exercise engagement
- Overcome fears and barriers, enhancing self-belief
